Barnard will assume the presidency on July 1, 2026.

I am thrilled to have Dr. Barnard lead Jessup during this next season of change and growth, said Bonnie Gore, chair of Jessup Board of Trustees. Her extensive experience in providing innovative solutions in higher education will be an asset to Jessup as we work to find new models to provide Christ-centered education to the community.

After a national search that began in March 2026, led by FaithSearch Partners with input from a presidential search committee composed of board leaders, faculty, a representative from student life and a local pastor, Barnard emerged as the candidate best suited to lead a4yy敁珗腦瞳 into its next chapter. As the first woman president to lead Jessup, she brings more than 20 years of experience in strategic leadership and a strong commitment to faith-based higher education. Barnard is eager to step into this role and excited about the opportunity to serve the Jessup community.

It’s an exciting time at a4yy敁珗腦瞳. I believe there are incredible opportunities for kingdom advancement and growth. I am humbled to be called by God to join the committed, hardworking, talented community already positioning Jessup so well for its future, said Barnard. The future of a4yy敁珗腦瞳 is written in the lives and achievements of our students. It is an honor to ensure every student has the opportunity, resources, and encouragement to succeed, both in the classroom and beyond.”

Barnard most recently served as provost and senior vice president at Southeastern University. She is a seasoned academic who earned a bachelors degree from Rollins College, an MBA from Palm Beach Atlantic University and a Ph.D. in Texts and Technology from the University of Central Florida.

The future of a4yy敁珗腦瞳 is written in the lives and achievements of our students. It is an honor to ensure every student has the opportunity, resources, and encouragement to succeed, both in the classroom and beyond.”

She has served on various academic committees, received multiple scholarships and research grants and shared her expertise at many different conferences. Barnard, an award winning leader, is passionate about Christian higher education and passionate about student success. Throughout her tenure as provost and senior vice president at Southeastern University, she has demonstrated a deep commitment to academic excellence and Christ-centered leadership. She led significant academic transformation efforts, including streamlining degree pathways to better serve students, launching high-demand programs in fields such as counseling, hospitality, and medical sciences, and expanding experiential learning opportunities that connect classroom knowledge with real-world calling.

Barnard has fostered strategic partnerships with ministries, churches, educational organizations, and non-profits around the world, extending the reach of Christian higher education to thousands of learners.

Her leadership reflects a rare combination of strategic foresight and operational excellence that is grounded in her deep commitment to students and mission-driven higher education.

“Dr. Barnard is a thoughtful and accomplished leader whose experience and character position her well for this moment, said Presidential Search Committee Chair and Board Member Rachael Gelsinger. I am confident that her leadership will bring both stability and vision. She has a remarkable ability to navigate complexity while inspiring others toward innovation and mission-driven growth.”

Throughout her career, Barnard has combined strategic vision with operational excellence, transforming academic systems, launching innovative educational models, and positioning institutions for sustainable growth and greater impact.

Dr. Meghan Barnard is a passionate educator and administrator, said a4yy敁珗腦瞳 Interim President Dr. Parnell M. Lovelace, Jr. She brings vision, opportunity, and insight to our Jessup community. We are blessed to welcome her as our president. I am convinced that the best is yet to come, under her leadership.

My Why: Rachael Gelsinger /blog/cultural-impact/my-why-rachael-gelsinger/ Mon, 01 Jun 2026 21:58:29 +0000 /?p=83226 Guided by Purpose and Focused on the Future

There are moments in life when leadership is not sought for recognition or influence, but embraced out of responsibility and love. For Rachael Gelsinger, joining Jessups Board of Trustees was one of those moments and its her love for a4yy敁珗腦瞳s mission that best encapsulates her Why Jessup?

Long before she became a board member, she witnessed firsthand the impact of a Jessup education. Her husband Nathan, a pastor known for his mentorship and transformational leadership, is an alumnus of Jessup, the place that profoundly shaped his calling. Even more meaningful is the relationship her in-laws share with the Jessup family. For decades, they have faithfully supported a4yy敁珗腦瞳. The Jessup family are truly salt and light of the earth people, she said. They consistently demonstrate true servant leadership.

Gelsingers leadership style is unpretentious, rooted in collaboration and a strong understanding that meaningful progress is rarely accomplished alone. She also looks to the teachings of Jesus. I look at what Christ modeled for us in His conversations with religious leaders, she said. I see Christ modeling strength, truth and conviction by speaking the truth in love and by choosing to do what is right, even when it is difficult.

One of her giftings is the ability to seek out wise counsel, bring the right people together and learn from those with specialized knowledge and experience. Her strengths are in networking, relationship building and creating partnerships that move vision into action. That approach has shaped her leadership both personally and professionally.

Through the deeply personal journey of adopting children through foster care, she learned to navigate complex systems, advocate persistently for what matters most and work closely with professionals toward a shared goal. Those experiences strengthened her resilience, sharpened her ability to collaborate under pressure and heightened her compassion for others.

Years of personal and professional experience give her a unique understanding of stewardship, organizational sustainability and the importance of aligning resources with mission and values. Her exposure to complex philanthropic initiatives and high-level leadership conversations allows her the ability to navigate challenging situations with wisdom, discernment and emotional intelligence.

Earlier this year, under Gelsingers leadership, the Board launched a nationwide presidential search to identify the next leader who will guide a4yy敁珗腦瞳 into a new era. The process was rigorous and prayerful, and she approached it as a sacred responsibility. While the journey hasnt been easy, Gelsinger leaned heavily on her faith. Direction from James 1:5 became an anchor for her soul. God tells us He will give us the wisdom we need, when we need it she said. He means it.

Profoundly grateful for the faculty and staff who have gone beyond the boundaries of their job descriptions to carry the university through this important season, Gelsinger has also been enriched. Its been inspiring and an honor to work with such incredible, mission-minded people, she said. To her, their dedication reflects the very spirit of Christian higher education; a community of people united by shared values, servant leadership and a collective desire to invest in the next generation.

Much progress has been made toward Jessups sustainable future, strengthened by renewed vision and committed leadership. But for Gelsinger, the work is still deeply personal because faithful institutions that shape the hearts, minds and souls of the next generation matter. Not only does the Gelsinger family want to contribute to organizations that help the most vulnerable, we want to be able to contribute to organizations that are raising up the next generation of people that are going to also invest, she said.

Whether leading difficult conversations, guiding institutional change or building consensus around a mission, Gelsinger leads with the belief that the best outcomes happen when people come together with humility, wisdom and a shared commitment to serving something greater than themselves. When it comes to Jessup, Gelsinger said, God is the hero of Jessups story. He always has been and He always will be.

My Why: Jacqueline Herrera /blog/cultural-impact/my-why-jacqueline-herrera/ Fri, 08 May 2026 18:26:47 +0000 /?p=82667 Taking the fast track: How Jacqueline Herrera rewrote the rules of accountancy

While most college seniors spend the three months following graduation catching their breath or searching for entry-level roles, Jacqueline Herrera will spend them securing her second degree. In a whirlwind finish that has officially made University history, Herrera crossed the stage to accept her Bachelor of Science in Accountancy this spring, and just 90 days later, she will have earned her masters in the same subject. As the first graduate to successfully navigate this accelerated path, she isnt just leaving campus with a pair of diplomasshes leaving with a job offer, a Roth IRA and a passport stamped for summer adventure.

In Jessups Accountancy program, once an undergraduate successfully completes 90 units, the doors to masters-level coursework swing wide open. Herrera accumulated 150 credits in record time. Not only is she on her way to earning two degrees, this accomplishment enables her to pursue her Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensea notoriously rigorous benchmark that typically requires an additional year of schooling.

Yet, if you ask Herrera, the degrees are just the byproduct of her true Why Jessup? She views her biggest takeaway as the profound level of personal development she has experienced at Jessup. While academics gave her the tools, her professors gave her the confidence. Jessups accountancy program is taught by professors who are active veterans of the financial industry. For Herrera, these seasoned professionals went far beyond the syllabus, stepping up as invaluable mentors. By sharing real-world insights and opening their professional networks, they helped Herrera navigate the transition from student to professional, connecting her with the job offer she holds today.

Thanks to her hard-earned scholarships, Herrera graduated debt-free. Her financial savvy extends beyond her tuition too. As a member of Jessups investment club, she took the lessons of compounding interest and market analysis to heart, setting up her own Roth IRA long before she receives her first post-commencement paycheck.

Despite her knack for numbers, the human element of her education resonated most deeply. In a field stereotyped by spreadsheets, Herrera found a passion for the ethical responsibilities of accountancy. Having previously served in the nonprofit arena, she views her role more as a mandate to act in the public’s best interest. Her coursework in accounting ethics analyzed real-world financial fraud cases and the critical importance of internal controls. Understanding how fraud happens made me realize how vital it is to have strong, unshakable values of honesty and integrity in this field.

Armed with technical expertise, a clear moral compass, and the confidence that comes from conquering a rigorous dual-degree program, Herrera is prepared to enter the workforce. But before she takes her seat at her new firm, shes heading to China for an immersive cultural exchange program with some Jessup professors. There she will trade balance sheets for a broader worldview, exploring everything from the disciplined movements of traditional martial arts, to pottery, to the cutting-edge technology sector of China. Its a fitting victory lap for a graduate who has already mastered the art of accelerating her future, all so she can be a difference maker sooner.

My Why: David Masse /blog/cultural-impact/my-why-david-masse/ Thu, 23 Apr 2026 17:59:28 +0000 /?p=82466 During one ordinary chapel service, back when Jessups Director of Media Services David Masse was a student at Hillsong College, he experienced a moment that continues to shape his passion today.

I was worshipping, and it felt like the heavens opened and I caught a glimpse of what it will be like to worship God for eternity, he said. That service changed my life. I realized my purpose is to create spaces here on earth where others might catch a glimpse of heaven.

Since 2019, Masse has overseen Jessups event AVL experiencerefining audio, video, and lighting to remove the things that might distract from the presentation of the gospel. He leads a talented media team and supervises student technicians who deliver production support across Jessups growing campus.

This is important work and the harvest is ready, he said. Theres so much to do, but I find deep fulfillment in moving the needle for the Kingdom as we faithfully steward whats before us. It can be tough to make due with what we have but I dont want to be guilty of burying the Masters talent.

Masse played a key role in coordinating and shaping the vision for the Chapel and Event Center upgrade, working closely with Jessup stakeholders to create an environment that reflects both excellence and authenticity. From system design and layout to selecting the finishes and equipment that bring the space to life, he helped guide the project toward a unified vision for worship and community.

Beyond chapel, Masse provides video production services and contributes relationally to the wider campus community. I love connecting with students, especially those who have that spark for learning, he said. Mentoring themfanning that spark into a flameis one of the greatest privileges. I remember the leaders who shaped me, and its an honor to now play that role in our students stories.

Masses production journey began in seventh grade when he joined his small churchs creative  team. I hardly knew what any of the knobs and faders did but the sound board was covered with tape and clear instruction for what was not to be touched. Years later, he admits he knows what most of the knobs and faders do and he loves to help partner churches understand them as well.

Masses heart for ministry extends far beyond Jessups campus and local churches. His parents serve as missionaries running House of Hope in Sumba, Indonesiaa ministry Jessups Global Outreach teams now partner with. Through that connection, Jessup students travel to Sumba to serve in sports ministries and provide education to children living in poverty. The organization introduces local kids to Jesus while teaching sustainable skills that help break cycles of poverty for generations.

Through his work in Media Services, Masse transforms ordinary moments into glimpses of heavenblending technical excellence with spiritual purpose. Beyond the cameras, screens, and soundboards, he pours into students, mentors future leaders, and strengthens the global Church. Though his Why Jessup? may be one thread in a much larger tapestry, its one that beautifully ties together campus, church, and calling into a story of faithful impact.

A Message of Thanks and Leadership Update /blog/cultural-impact/a-message-of-thanks-and-leadership-update/ Wed, 01 Apr 2026 23:22:07 +0000 /?p=82108 Dear Jessup Community,

On behalf of the Board of Trustees, I am writing to share that after 15 years of faithful service as President and most recently as Chancellor, as of March 31, Dr. John Jackson is stepping away from his leadership role at a4yy敁珗腦瞳.

We are deeply grateful for Dr. Jacksons leadership during a significant season in Jessups history. Over the past decade and a half, Jessup experienced meaningful growth in enrollment, programs, and reputation. The university is known and respected in our region in large part because of his steady commitment to our mission and to students and their families. Under his leadership, Jessup expanded into innovative and in-demand fields that benefited students and community partners, including programs such as Nursing and Aviation, along with growing programs in the areas of Business, Psychology, and the Arts.

We want to thank Dr. Jackson for the pivotal role he has played in helping shape Jessup into the institution it is today. His impact will be felt for years to come. Please join us in expressing gratitude for Dr. Jackson, lifting him and his family up in prayer in this next season, and continuing to support the work God is doing at Jessup.

As we move forward, we are confident in the future of a4yy敁珗腦瞳.

This commitment to you and our mission can be seen and felt every day on campus and online. Our current students remain at the center of that work as they continue their academic journeys, invest in community, and prepare for what is ahead. Faculty and students are actively preparing for summer courses, and planning is well underway for a strong fall semester as enrollment continues to build. Across campus, there is continued momentum in the work of educating and forming the next generation of transformational leaders for the glory of God. We recently hosted Preview Day, welcoming hundreds of prospective students and their families as they consider joining Jessup this fall.

The Board, leadership, faculty, and staff hear you. We remain committed to open communication, to listening well, and to continuing the kind of dialogue that has already begun through recent town halls and conversations across our community.

We are also deeply grateful for our generous donors who continue to invest in this mission and in the lives of our students. Your partnership helps make possible the ongoing work of Jessup and the formation of future leaders.

At a4yy敁珗腦瞳 our promise remains the same: That every student will know the way to Christ, community, and calling.

Transitions like this are significant, but they also provide an opportunity to move forward with clarity and purpose. Thank you for your continued trust and commitment to a4yy敁珗腦瞳.

With gratitude,
Bonnie Gore
Chair, Board of Trustees

a4yy敁珗腦瞳 Announces Presidential Search Committee /blog/cultural-impact/jessup-university-announces-presidential-search-committee/ Mon, 16 Mar 2026 23:02:06 +0000 /?p=81616 At a4yy敁珗腦瞳, Jesus remains at the center of who we are and why we exist. As the university continues pursuing its mission of Christ-centered higher education, the Board of Trustees is taking the next step in stewarding the future leadership of the institution.

As previously shared with the Jessup community, the Board committed to launching a national search in 2026 for the universitys next president. Jessup is now moving forward with that commitment through the formation of a Presidential Search Committee and the beginning of the search process.

The search is being led by a committee chaired by Jessup Trustee Rachael Gelsinger and will be conducted in partnership with FaithSearch Partners, an executive search firm with extensive experience in higher education leadership searches.

The committee was intentionally assembled to bring together a range of perspectives from across the Jessup community, including board leadership, faculty, student life, and the local church.

Presidential Search Committee Members

  • Rachael Gelsinger Committee Chair
  • Bonnie Gore Board Chair
  • Joyce Schroeder Board Member
  • Nick Garza Board Member
  • Parker Daniells Faculty Liaison
  • Brandon Farmer Staff and Student Liaison
  • Lance Hahn Pastor, Bridgeway Church

Beginning March 16, FaithSearch Partners will conduct stakeholder conversations across the Jessup community to gather perspectives that will help shape the presidential profile and guide the search process. These interviews reflect the committees commitment to hearing a broad range of voices as the search moves forward.

The university will provide periodic updates throughout the process so the Jessup community can remain informed as the search progresses.

Most importantly, the university invites the entire Jessup community to join in prayer during this important season. Please pray for wisdom, discernment, and unity for the search committee, and for Gods guidance as Jessup seeks the next leader who will faithfully carry the universitys mission forward.

Jessup remains committed to preparing the next generation of transformational leaders for the glory of God, and the university looks ahead with gratitude and anticipation for the leader God will provide for this next chapter.

Local Outreach: Limitless Impact /blog/cultural-impact/local-outreach-limitless-impact/ Mon, 16 Mar 2026 18:36:08 +0000 /?p=81618

The word outreach may bring to mind the picture of a distant country, filled with culturally-diverse people and unfamiliar lifestyles. For some a4yy敁珗腦瞳 students, they understand that outreach can start in your own backyard.

Over the Spring and Fall 2025 semesters, Jessups Campus Ministries partnered with Points of Light (POL), an organization that serves communities across the globe, and sent a team of students to Oakland, California to support their mission.

Debra Hay, Coordinator for Student Connections, explains the importance of this initiative. With around 500 churches planted in Oakland, ranging in all sizes, there are no churches that have a full-time childrens ministry pastor or leader because of small budgets. She elaborates, POLs goal is to meet those needs where the local church cannot.

To support this mission, Jessup students led house visits where they presented Bible lessons right on the steps of childrens homes. Hay explains, Its Sunday school, but sidewalk Sunday school. The team is brought to the street to preach the Word to children all around Oakland.

Local outreach is designed to support those in need, but its undeniable that students also receive something rewarding by participating in these ministry opportunities.

You can tangibly see something shift within those who embrace the experience spiritually, emotionally and physically, Hay says. It’s a super vulnerable and courageous thing for people to ask for help, so being involved in that space and a part of that process with someone is impactful alone.

“It’s a super vulnerable and courageous thing for people to ask for help, so being involved in that space and a part of that process with someone is impactful alone.”

If students want to participate in outreach opportunities, Hay explains that its not about going to a far destination, but its being available to those who need to feel supported and loved, no matter where they are located.

We want the Jessup Community to know that we do not need to go on international trips to have cross cultural experience and help people, communities or organizations. They are here in our backyard, Hay says.

Excited to continue their impact, Jessup students will once again be partnering with Points of Light in early March 2026 to faithfully serve their local community.

a4yy敁珗腦瞳 Board of Trustees Announces National Search for President /blog/cultural-impact/jessup-university-board-of-trustees-announces-national-search-for-president/ Wed, 11 Mar 2026 21:30:53 +0000 /?p=81588 The a4yy敁珗腦瞳 Board of Trustees is pleased to announce the official launch of a national search for the universitys president. As communicated to Jessup stakeholders in December, the Board committed to beginning a national search in 2026, and this announcement continues that commitment as part of securing strategic leadership for Jessups future. The Board has approved the search process and is forming a representative search committee whose members are being appointed to help identify a mission-aligned leader to guide Jessup into its next chapter of growth and impact.

The Board also remains committed to the universitys ongoing financial turnaround and stabilization efforts and will continue working closely with CEO and Interim President Dr. Parnell M. Lovelace, Jr. to sustain the considerable progress that has already been made. The presidential search will move forward alongside these efforts as the university continues strengthening its foundation and preparing for the future.

The Board is committed to a prayerful and diligent search for a leader who shares our vision to educate transformational leaders for the glory of God, said Bonnie Gore, Chair of the a4yy敁珗腦瞳 Board of Trustees. We look forward to identifying a president who will lead the University during this pivotal season.

The search will be chaired by Jessup Trustee Rachael Gelsinger. A representative search committee including members of the Board, faculty, and broader Jessup constituency will work in conjunction with the search firm to conduct a national search and identify candidates who align with the universitys mission and future vision.

We are grateful for the decisive leadership and steady progress being made under Dr. Lovelace during this important season for Jessup, said Rachael Gelsinger, Jessup Trustee and Chair of the Presidential Search Committee. As the Board begins this national search, our goal is to identify a leader who is deeply aligned with Jessups mission and prepared to build on that momentum as the university moves into its next chapter.

To facilitate this vital search, a4yy敁珗腦瞳 has partnered with FaithSearch Partners, a premier executive search firm with a 98% success rate across more than 1,000 searches. Their Higher Education practice is led by Senior Vice President Dr. Andy Westmoreland, who brings 40 years of academic experience and two former college presidencies to Jessups search for mission-aligned leadership. Members of the FaithSearch Partners team are expected to be on campus for initial stakeholder interviews in advance of formally launching the search.

The Board is prioritizing the quality and fit of the candidates and working along a designated timeline. Updates will be shared with the university community as available. A dedicated search landing page featuring FAQs as well as directions for nominating candidates will be available soon.

A Shared Story of Faith, Struggle, and Legacy /blog/cultural-impact/a-shared-story-of-faith-struggle-and-legacy/ Fri, 13 Feb 2026 21:39:12 +0000 /?p=80841 a4yy敁珗腦瞳 and Multnomah

Multnomah University and a4yy敁珗腦瞳 share roots that reach back nearly a century. Founded in 1936 and 1939, just years apart, both institutions began with the same calling to provide Christ centered education and to prepare men and women for lives of ministry, leadership, and service. Because of that shared heritage, the recent closure of the Multnomah Portland campus carries real emotional weight. For many alumni and friends, Multnomah represents a place of deep spiritual formation. At Jessup, we recognize that grief and honor the legacy Multnomah represents.

The partnership between Jessup and Multnomah arose during a time of significant pressure across higher education. National reporting shows that nearly 300 colleges and universities closed between 2008 and 2023, reflecting broad financial and demographic challenges facing smaller institutions.繒 Multnomah encountered sustainability challenges that threatened its ability to continue independently. Public coverage at the time described the partnership as an effort to preserve Multnomahs legacy and continue serving students.簡 Both institutions entered the partnership with hope that together they could sustain programs and support students connected to Multnomahs mission.

As Board Chair Bonnie Gore shared recently, We recognize that this decision is difficult and carries emotional weight for many who have invested time, faith, and devotion into the Multnomah legacy. Please know that this decision was not made lightly, but with deep respect for all who have served, studied, and led through the years. Jessup worked in good faith with Multnomah faculty, staff, alumni, and representatives to explore options and support students through a responsible teach out process. Through the partnership, classes continued for approximately a year and a half, allowing Multnomah students to complete their programs and graduate. Efforts were made to preserve important elements of Multnomahs academic heritage, including digitizing the Multnomah library for continued theological education. Multnomah Biblical Seminary continues within Jessup as an active expression of that shared mission.

Despite sincere effort and shared optimism, enrollment and operational realities ultimately proved unsustainable for the Portland campus. After careful evaluation and prayerful consideration, the decision was made to close it. The closing of a campus does not erase a legacy. Multnomahs influence continues through its alumni and through the ongoing work of Multnomah Biblical Seminary within Jessup. Interim President Dr. Parnell Lovelace notes, Our commitment to Christ centered higher education has not changed. The continuation of Multnomah Biblical Seminary within Jessup reflects our desire to honor that legacy while equipping the next generation of leaders to serve the Church faithfully.

This is a story of shared faith and shared struggle faced by many Christian institutions today. We acknowledge the disappointment surrounding these events while remaining committed to honoring Multnomahs legacy and moving forward in our shared mission. We pray for healing, unity, and renewed strength across the Christian education community, grateful to continue the calling that shaped both institutions.

Our Why: Dennis and Christina Treadaway /blog/cultural-impact/my-why-dennis-and-christina-treadaway/ Thu, 05 Feb 2026 20:14:37 +0000 /?p=80576 Everyone Needs a Little Jesus

When you meet Jessup donors Dennis and Christina Treadaway, there is no doubt they are on fire for the Lord. With a marriage anchored in Christ, the enthusiastic couple are in prayer regularly, often praying for those they meet during everyday encounters. They are also faithful and generous givers who seek to advance the Kingdom wherever and whenever possible. We pray that we are faithful stewards of what God has given us, Christina said.

Rooted in Scripture, the Treadaways have adopted Malachi 3:10 as a guiding principle for their lives. The core idea is that Gods generosity is boundless and when you give, God will provide for you abundantly, often more than you can imagine, Dennis said. You cant outgive God and we love that challenge. Weve learned to trust and give because everything we have belongs to Him.

Last year, the couple sold their business, FPI Management, Inc., a professional management services company for multi-family housing owners since 1968. The company is a proud supporter of many philanthropic organizations and provides a comprehensive range of services, from managing existing properties to overseeing new construction. Recently retired, the couple is pouring in to what matters most advancing Gods Kingdom here on earth.

First learning about Jessup five years ago when Jessup Chancellor, John Jackson, spoke at their home church, the Treadaways were immediately taken by his palpable passion for the love of Jesus Christ and for the mission of a4yy敁珗腦瞳. Shortly after meeting John, I wrote an email asking to connect with him for lunch, Dennis said. Who wouldnt want to embrace a talented and kinetic preacher like Dr. Jackson?

Christina put it this way, Once Dennis met with Dr. Jackson, we started seeing Jessup connections and touch points everywhere we went. We had friends, former employees and just kept meeting people who were either alumni or knew someone attending Jessup. As we continued to hear good things about how these people are shining a light in our communities, we knew we wanted to be part of that. We think Jessup is an amazing place to get educated and educate others about Jesus.

The Treadaways are playing a major part in the Why Jessup? Campaign as they are matching any gift given to the campaign, (no matter how often or how much) with $100. For any Presidents Circle gift, the couple is matching $1,000. We are all for any effort that spreads the salt, life and love of Jesus, Christina said.

One piece of advice the couple has for graduates entering the marketplace today is this. Dont hesitate to be bold, Dennis said. I would rather be bold and not heard, than not be bold and miss an opportunity. Also, its important to live up to your commitment do what you say you are going to do and work hard. Christina recommends showing others mercy, grace, kindness, forgiveness and to give others the benefit of the doubt. We live in an angry and negative world as it is already, she said. Its so important to keep your head about you, and dont get so entrenched in things that dont really matter.

Carrying a message of hope and purpose rooted in their spiritual convictions, the Treadaways see every encounter as an opportunity to reflect their faith and inspire others to live with grace, gratitude and compassion. We carry these mini Jesus dolls with us wherever we go, Dennis said. We hand them out to people we meet along the way and see it as a way to share our faith. Basically everywhere we go is sacred ground and theres always a way to share your faith in some way.
