Steps to Become a Jessup Warrior
Step 1 — Apply & Confirm
- Complete your – Log in to your application portal and upload any missing items. Questions? Email [email protected] or book a call.
- Confirm you’re coming – In the portal, submit the Enrollment Form and pay the Enrollment Deposit to secure registration and housing priority.
- Activate Jessup credentials – Watch your personal email for an activation link. Can’t find it? Email [email protected].
- Log in to your Student Portal – Visit student.jessup.edu to view tasks, billing, and course info.
- Check your Jessup email – mail.jessup.edu; plan to check at least twice a week.
Step 2 — Apply for Financial Aid
- Submit the 2025‑26 FAFSA – Go to studentaid.gov and include Jessup’s school code: 001281.
- Access the Financial Aid Portal – Go to the Financial Aid portal to see any required documents and your awards
- Meet a Financial Aid Advisor– Book a virtual or in-person meeting using the Financial Aid booking page
- Complete loan requirements – Accept or decline aid, then complete the Master Promissory Note and Entrance Counseling linked in the Financial Aid portal

Step 3 — Placement Tests & Transcripts
- Complete English & Math placement tests – Confirmed students are auto‑enrolled in online assessments. You are encouraged to take these as soon as possible as they will determine your course placement.. Exemptions apply for qualifying transfer credit, AP/IB, or ACT/SAT scores.
- Order All final official transcripts (high school, college, CLEP, AP exams) – Use Parchment or your school’s service; transcripts must arrive before ´ˇłÜ˛µâ€Ż25. If they don’t, Jessup will order them on your behalf and add a $25 fee to your account.
Step 4 — Housing & Registration
- Submit Housing or Commuter Application – Opens ˛Ń˛ą˛â 1 on the . (All undergraduate students are required to abide by the along with having a .)
- Watch for communication from your Success Coach who will register you for your first semester classes.

Step 5 — Orientation & Engagement
- Choose ONE New Student Orientation Day – ´łłÜ±ô˛â 11 or July 25 or August 8.

Step 6 — Payment & Pre‑Arrival
- Pay tuition in full or set up a payment plan – Complete by ´ˇłÜ˛µâ€Ż1 via the Student Portal. For information on payment plans, go to: https://mycollegepaymentplan.com/wju.
- Check your schedule – Verify in the ; textbook info is emailed to your Jessup account.
Step 7 — Arrival & Welcome
- Warrior Welcome Weekend – ´ˇłÜ˛µâ€Ż22 â¶Ä“â¶ÄŻ24: move‑in, worship, and community events. Register at the .
- Classes begin – ´ˇłÜ˛µâ€Ż25. Congratulations—you’re officially a student!

Jessup is on a rolling admissions basis and therefore you can apply throughout the year. However, there are very important priority dates that you should pay attention to at:Â /admissions/undergrad/priority-dates-and-deadlines/
Remember that the earlier you apply to Jessup, the earlier you may be able to reserve your spot in the class which will help you receive priority class registration and priority housing benefits.

You can find out by going to the Student Portal . From the home page click on “Quick View” and go to Student Status. Your representatives will be listed towards the middle of the page.

Good news– you don’t need to do this alone! You are automatically registered for your first semester of classes by your academic advisor once you confirm and complete Jessup 101 orientation.
First make sure that you have completed Jessup 101 orientation which has important information on changing your class schedule. If you still feel that you need assistance from your Academic Advisor, you can email them directly, book an appointment with them at  or email [email protected].

There you will sign in with your student credentials and fill out the form to indicate that you either plan to live on campus (and which residence hall you prefer) or if you plan to commute (you must obtain permission to live off campus, so this form needs to be filled out by all new students.)

Jessup follows the IGETC transfer agreement to give you an idea of which credits we can accept, but to know your specific transfer credits, send us all of your college transcripts and the major you desire and we will create a comprehensive evaluation made just for you. You can send the transcripts as well as any questions to [email protected].
Jessup 101 is our Online Orientation platform to teach you important things to know about being a new Warrior. It is about 2 hours of helpful and engaging videos that will put you on the path to success at Jessup. You can begin and come back to it whenever you want, but don’t delay this step, you need to complete it well before the semester starts!
You don’t have to wait! Simply send us your unofficial transcript(s) (usually downloadable from your school website in pdf format) and we can issue an admissions decision. You can do the same with unofficial test scores. HOWEVER, we WILL need your final official transcripts and scores before your first semester at Jessup so that there are no holds placed on your account.
